Her project ( Developing A Screening Instrument For Arabic Speaking Children With Reading Dyslexia ) has been selected as one of the top 15 projects that will represent Jordan and our school at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Columbus, Ohio, USA.

Grade 9 National students are studying about the Solar System, virtual reality was a great new tool to use to develop a deeper understanding of the solar system. Students really enjoyed wearing the VR goggles - exploring and learning important information about the planets of our solar system! Using technology to enhance learning was lots of fun, although it did make some students a bit queasy initially.
The International Kangaroo Mathematics Competition

We are proud of our student, Yousef Shammas, from second grade, who achieved first place in the first level of the International Kangaroo Mathematics Competition with a perfect score! This global competition gathers participants from 109 countries, focusing on logical mathematical structures.
Our brilliant students participated in the annual "Promising Translator Contest" which was organized by the Applied Science Private University, with the participation of 500 students from government & private schools.
BAA secured the fifth place in this year’s competition. CONGRATULATIONS!

Students and employees of BAA stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Gaza and the occupied Palestine during these difficult times.
The recent events in Palestine have deeply affected us, and we cannot remain silent. We condemn any form of violence and injustice that undermines the rights and dignity of the Palestinian people.
Our hearts go out to the families who have lost their loved ones in Gaza, and we send our prayers and support to those who are suffering.
We will continue to educate ourselves, raise awareness, and advocate for the rights of the Palestinian people. Together, we can make a difference and contribute to a world where peace and justice prevail.
Sports & Tele match Day brought new energy in the hearts and minds of the children.
A sound mind resides in a sound body. Sports and games help in large muscle co-ordination resulting in physical fitness apart from inculcating sportsmanship, leadership, unity competitive spirit among the students.
Last week in first grade we embarked on a fantastic journey into the world of living and non-living! Our young learners were absolutely amazing as they dove into this exciting classification activities !
They started with a scavenger hunt game looking all around the playground for living and non-living things, then they sorted many pictures into two categories ( living and non living) ending with a board game about the same subject .
Our little scientists showed incredible enthusiasm and creativity while distinguishing between these categories.

BAA seniors enjoyed a visit to the elderly care center, where they spent precious time with the generation that taught us kindness and generosity.
On the occasion of Al Isra and Al Miraj, our school library invited Ms. Fedaa Alzomor
to provide our primary students an insightful lesson about this magnificent Night Journey, the lessons we can learn from it and the importance of Al Aqsa Mosque in Islam.
At the end her story about Masjid Al Aqsa was distributed for the students to take home along with other engaging and enjoyable activities.
There is something about the aroma of fresh books that's totally intoxicating. A new book has a certain clean, crisp smell full of promises. As part of Book Week, our school library has organised a Book Fair for both girls and boys section, the students had a wonderful time choosing and buying books
Alhamdulillah another winter drive was done this year warm jackets were distributed to 130 children.

Today was our first PTA meeting for this year 2022-2023, thank you to everyone who joined us, it was very successful and there was a lot of information shared.

World Diabetes Day is a global occasion to raise awareness about the threat that Diabetes poses in everyday life, while also providing solutions and better access to treatment and care.
BAA conducted a Free Medical Check-Up on 14th November 2022, offering its staff free doctor consultation and blood sugar tests.

What a great turn out at the Majors and Minors Fair!
Last week our students had the opportunity to speak with current university students about different majors or minors that they were interested in.
We hope all of our students enjoyed speaking with, and gaining insight from our visitors from various universities
At whatever level of education, school fun days are an important part of student's educational lives. Allowing students to participate in entertaining activities to break up their academic routines is beneficial and makes school more enjoyable for both students and teachers.
In this regard, we at BAA Primary section hosted a water fun day for our lovely students to have fun and make memories.
Good hygiene practices from early childhood can positively affect our children's growth and development. Our children will also learn to be independent and boost their confidence and self-esteem.
Our beloved First graders had lots of funduring the personal hygiene activity.
Activity based learning is a methodology where children learn at their own pace through various supervised activities. It encourages children to be inquisitive and independent.
Vowel activity was conducted for students of Grade 2 where students revised about vowels.
Birds seem to be just about everywhere you look..
Their cheerful chirping in the morning and nesting habits in the spring are just a couple of our favorite things about learning about birds.
Below our eighth graders during their arabic class dived into learning about their habits, food, features and much more.

BAA proudly hostedDr. Sameer Aldaradkeh, Communicable and Infections Disease Specialist at The Royal Medical Services, for a Corona Virus awareness session on Tuesday, March 3rd. The session included the nature of the virus, precautions and preventive measures and was live-stream online to all classes within the academy.

BAA held its very first Annual Famous People day. National and International 7th grade students presented and impersonated their research on famous people who had an impact on humanity. Parents, teachers, and students enjoyed a vibrant festival of presentations.
The PTA organized a lecture titled Understanding Teenagers (Theory and Practice) presented by Ms. Dina Halasa. The lecture was followed by breakfast in The Lobby Restaurant.
Bunat Alghad Academy participated in the 15 National Robotics Competition. About 47 teams from Amman and other governorates took part in the competition on Saturday 23/11/2019. The academy won the following awards:

What do we do in STEAM Classes?
Unlike the traditional way of teaching, in which science fields are thought in isolation, STEAM focuses on teaching Science, Math, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics in an integrated way which teaches students logic to creatively solve problems.
The Parents Council held a workshop entitled (time management and tasks assignment) for ninth grade students. It included defining the mechanism of assigning tasks, organizing time and daily goals, and how to make a daily tasks list and how is this list implemented.
Discussion session for the tenth grade international students with the educational counsellorIman Abu Saaon the topic of "correct study habits" to ensure how to organize a daily schedule, the meaning of motivation and will, how to focus and remove distractions, food and sleep and their impact on the academic aspect.
Is it an omnivore, herbivore, or carnivore? After studying about groups of animals, grade one students had the opportunity to discover, observe, and identify a number of animals in the primary school playground. It was a rich experience for our little learners
Students of grade 2 explored various habitats from the depth of the ocean to the top of mountains, investigating how plants and animals survive within them, and they also compared and contrasted the information that they gathered in a special and a well-designed activity in the primary schoolyard.
With the intention to create a sense of responsibility and ownership, BAA elects the students council members to enable the other students to share their views, ideas, concerns and interests.
The students council members will serve major responsibilities of solving students problems and managing many projects and activities.
BAA is proud to announce the great achievement of our little star Jamal Mohammad. Jamal succeeded to win the gold medal in the Judo tournament for juniors held in Jordan this month.

In cooperation with Bab Al Kahir for Charity, grade 10 students participated in preparing meals in Cookienzi Restaurant, a restaurant that aims to enable a group of women to improve their life situation. The students prepared the meals then distributed them to the families in need.

Students of grades 11 and 12 believe in their ability to build a better future which led them to help load food parcels in Um Ali’s storages in Al Qastal. The students then distributed the parcels to the families in need in Dayr ‘Allah
BAA held a workshop entitled "Teaching Children at Home" presented by the Family Counselor Mrs. Nariman Arikat.
Mrs. Arikat shared some practical ways related to positively preparing children for exams and how to reduce the tension in the learning process. The workshop also covered some ideas on how to increase children's motivation to finish their homework.
Those who were unable to attend may schedule an appointment with the Family Counselor for any inquiries on the subject.

Our school clinic hosted Free Medical Day for 5th - 9th Graders. Free Medical Day activities included several stations: Dental Examination Station, Optometry Station, Ear and Throat examination Station and Nutrition Station.
The first week of playgroup was full of exciting new experiences.Our students had fun exploring their new classrooms, meeting their teachers and playing with friends.

A month full of creativity, learning theatre basics and letting our talents out in the drama club helped us to create a comedy skit prepared and directed by the student Dana Al-Mousa and performed by the students Bana Qaqaa, Sara Al-Atili, Hiam Khaddam and Rafeef Alkurdi, supervised by the drama teacher Heba Abuqweik.

What a beautiful way to celebrate the start of Ramadan! Our primary students spent a wonderful time singing traditional songs with ( Al Mmosaherati المسحراتي ), eating sweets and designing their Ramadan Goals Calendar.

Bullying can have a devastating effect on children but by teaching them what it is, its impact on others, and the ways that we can stop it, we can work to ensure that bullying becomes a smaller and smaller part of all our lives. To that end grade 9 students held an Anti-Bullying campaign, they acted out some drama and designed many posters to show different types of bullying and ways to stop it.
Bunat Alghad Academy held a Technological Exhibition in cooperation with STEAM Center in which students displayed topics that are related to#Science#Technology#Engineering#Art#Mathematics. The exhibition was held on the 20th of April, where they presented their scientific projects based on what they learned in STEAM classes integrated through their curriculum during the semester.
The BAA grade 5 & 6 students showed off their scientific skills, they shared their creative mastery of the scientific method with their proud parents and teachers.

Girl Scout Camp (2018-2019) included various scouting and social activities for girls, which inspire sharing, teamwork, leadership and the sense of responsibility.
BAA held its very first Annual Famous People day. National and International 7th grade students presented and impersonated their research on famous people who had an impact on humanity.

We would like to congratulate Ali Tamimi for winning the preliminary rounds of the Arab Reading Challenge on a province level and qualifying for the preliminary rounds on a kingdom level.
Chess provides the opportunity to teach students how to think their way through solving complex problems, and it is a terrific way to introduce STEM, STEAM, and Common Core criteria. Children enjoy chess as a game. Yet, chess offers the means of teaching mental abilities used throughout life: concentration, critical thinking, abstract reasoning, strategic planning, problem solving, visualization skills and creativity.

Bunat Alghad Academy wins third place..
Our students, Hala Barakat and Layan Aljunaidi, participated in the Jordanian robot exhibition held by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Group under the supervision of The Arab Robot Society. Our students competed against 76 schools and universities in Jordan, and they got the third place.
The name of their project is (Solution). The project aims to assist people with special needs through developing the wheelchair to be redirected and moved through breathing and eye movement.
Bunat Alghad Academy celebrated Karama Day. Students chanted along The Jordanian Military Army’s Music Band. Music was followed by national poetry recited with enthusiasm and excitement.
BAA invites UNHCR employee as part of Human Rights Program to give an introduction about the UNHCR'S efforts to help refugees in Jordan and around the world.
Mrs. Anwar Batta ( Associate Resettlement Officer) introduced to students of 10th grade the main goals of UNHCR in aiding refugees and supporting them with the help they need. Students were delighted to attend and ask many questions about the topics of Human Rights.

Dental Care Day .. Grades 2 & 3 BAA Dental Care Day was designed to show our 2nd & 3rd graders the importance of healthy eating, drinking and how a regular teeth cleaning routine is essential.
Because our primary students are eager to learn about space, the school shared an indoor space tent to give them the opportunity to come face to face with one of the most stunning space exhibits they have ever seen.
Story Week .. Grades 1-4 Reading is the most important skill you can teach a child. Of all the skills children learn, it is the one you can influence the most. Giving kids access to good books and the opportunity to choose books will motivate them to read more. And like most acquired skills, the more kids practice reading, the better they’ll get.

The exhibition of scientific miracles in the Holy Quran .. The students presented some verses of the Holy Quran and clarified the scientific miracles they contain.

(programming) in the 10th Arab Open Robotics Championship which was held in Qatar/ 2017
Community Service activities carried out by the students in Bunatalghad Academy:
1. The girls in grade five planted trees in one of the parks in Alkamaleyyah.
2. The boys in grade ten and eleven resolutely built stone chains in Prince Hashem Public Park in Bireen to prevent soil erosion.
3. In an attempt to protect trees from insects, the boys in grade seven painted tree trunks in Prince Hashem Public Park in Bireen.
4. In coordination with the Greater Amman Municipality, and in collaboration with “Yes I Can” team, the girls in
grade seven drew patriotic paintings and some scientific statements on the wall of a public school in Sweileh.

In this week .. we at the primary section will help our students develop positive habits that will last a lifetime by celebrating and learning more about the importance of a healthy smile through fun and joyful activities .
-Boy Scouts marched into the depth of the Scandinavian Forest, using a compass and code signals.
-Girl Guides in Bunatalghad Academy went on a discovery walk to the area of Jala’d using Codes and messages.

Each kid were given a money pot (Hasaleh) and asked to decorate it based on their imagination and creativity with regards to their task. then each one left with his/her hasaleh to start collecting money to renovate a house for a needy family.

In our ongoing effort to encourage our students to improve their mathematical skills,we start the "WOW cards"award system for math.For the first 10cards we award student by calling their parents in class.Nour Hamed and Layan daradkeh have gathered 20 so far.They are an example of excellence.
We believe that children are the best change agents at both home and the community.
At the primary section we designed the second poster ( Toilet Manners ) and checklist for our beloved students to fulfill our children's rights to a safe environment .

For a productive learning environment, the primary section at BAA held a special classes for Bullying Prevention to reduce and prevent bullying behavior throughout our school.
Our Primary School hosted an Open House for parents and their children that included a presentation of our after school activities for this year, face painting and entertainment. Parents had achance to meet our primary teachers in person, ask questions, and learn more about our school programs.

A Rehabilitation of a public library in Samo Village

BAA launched " Let's Read" competition in Rabyet Alkora in corporation with the Municipality of that place.
This competition comes along with the events of Bunat Alghad Arabic Reading Race.
The Academy also did some maintenance for the municipal library and donated nearly 800 stories and books, as well as some furniture.
The children of that area were entertained with a number of enjoyable activities that the academy had prepared, such as story-telling, art work and facial painting.
On the first week of April every year, orphans day is celebrated. On this occasion, the Academy students held an open day for Sweileh Orphanage. During this day, the orphans had much fun with the exciting games and
fun activities that our girls had prepared.
Believing in the significance of international educational exchange, the Academy is hosting a group of students from The Global Educational Excellence School in Michigan, United States of America. During its two week stay, the group will take a special Arabic language course which is based on the evaluation that the Academy had made for it .
. It is worth mentioning that it is one step forward in the educational exchange between BAA and CEE
The Baa team has won the first rank position in the Scholar’s Cup competition \Scholars Bowl seniorsthat had participants from many private schools such as (IAA) School, Jubilee School, New English Schools, Bishop’s School, Terra Santa etc.
The Baa Team will participate in the international competition in Bangkok.

During their stay in the holy land, our students practiced all the Islamic rituals such as praying They had the opportunity to stay all night reciting the holy Quran, praying Alfajer and then Alduha. They also did the twaf around the Qaaba associated with religious sermonIn addition to performing the religious rites, the students had a number of educational contests

What happens when is child is given more than he needs?
Aligning with the Business department experiential learning policy, a field trip has been organized for grade ten business and economics students to McDonalds fast food restaurant.
The students spent a half working day with the restaurant training manager, experiencing the working environment. The students practiced the process of different menu items preparation, drive through service, and front counter customer service.
At the end of the trip the students enjoyed the yummy food they prepared.
It was a day full of energy and fun! Sports Day was a day to remember.. with lots of games, competitions and high spirit!

In an interactive atmosphere, Dr. Ahmad Alzoughbi gave the 9th and 10th graders a lecture entitled " The guidance and misguidance of advertisement"
Through his lecture, Alzoughbi discussed various issues and displayed a number of his articles and some parts of his program " Banned in China"
.At the end of the lecture, the students were inclined to participate in some interactive questions that he answered and discussed with them
The Academy held an honoring ceremony for the parents who performed the Hajj. In this ceremony, the pilgrims were given trophies by the deputy Haitham Alhaj.
As a recognition from Bunat Al Ghad Academy to the tremendous efforts undertaken by the “Nachama of Jordan" to their homeland. The academy students provided a simple greeting to the members of the police officers of north Amman.

An amazing group of our students organized an entertaining event for a group of children from Al Baqaa orphanage. The event included several fun, sports and cultural activities.
