At BAA, students benefit greatly-both academically and psychologically-from volunteering their time to make the community and the world a better place. That is why our students become involved in community services starting from 5th Grade and until 12th Grade.
While completing community service projects, students practice and develop real life skills which will enable them to succeed in middle school, high school and after, such as:
Time management skills
Leadership skills
Problem-solving skills
Communication skills
Teamwork
By getting involved in community service, our students also:
Develop a richer perspective of the world they live in. While performing community service, students personally experience how much their work can have an impact on the world.
Connect what they learn in school to the real world. Community service gives our students an opportunity to explore academic interests through a real world lens.
The volunteer experiences help develop a wider personal profile for the students, which can be an advantage in the college admission process or for future jobs interviews. For that reason, BAA provides the students with a certified letter of VERIFICATION OF COMPLETED COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS.
